No injuries in downtown Christmas Eve building fire

A fire in a vacant downtown building left no one with injuries, according to a release from the Spokane Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the location on the 200 block of Main Avenue on the afternoon of Christmas Eve to find smoke coming from a vacant one-story building, the release said.
Firefighters extinguished the flames within 30 minutes of arriving.
No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
