Spokane holds off Hillsboro 1-0 on the road

One run was all it took for Spokane to remain unbeaten on the road during the second half of the Northwest League season.

Tommy Hopfe scored on a groundout in the third inning and Spokane (39-41) held on to beat Hillsboro (38-42) 1-0.

Spokane’s Justin Loer worked three innings of relief for the save.
