Chiefs’ Cowen almost stuck with NHL

Jared Cowen isn’t the happiest Spokane Chief right now, but a big dose of the Portland Winterhawks should fix that. Portland, which knocked out the Chiefs in the first round of the Western Hockey League playoffs last spring by winning all four games in Spokane in the best-of-7 series, returns to the Arena for games tonight and Saturday.
