Armed robbery, domestic violence suspect arrested

Armed robbery suspect John D. Redington, 43, was also arrested for assault related to a domestic violence incident earlier this month. Police identified the suspect from video footage and found his vehicle in a store parking lot soon after the robbery was reported.

A new initiative is spotlighting the high rate of Spokane County domestic violence, a trend that’s also increased the workload for processing protection orders.
