Mike Leach, Michael Baumgartner tease football and war leadership course at Washington State University

The head football coach at WSU tweeted what appeared to be a fully realized syllabus Sunday night for the course, which he first teased in late November. Michael Baumgartner, the former state senator and current Spokane County treasurer, confirmed he’d been working with Leach on the course layout and believed the course would bring a fresh perspective to the study of nontraditional warfare, and how to counter it.

Utah dominates Washington State for 88-70 victory

Timmy Allen scored 15 points and collected nine rebounds while Both Gach added 14 points to lead Utah to an 88-70 victory over Washington State. Charles Jones, Jr. and Riley Battin each added 11 points while Sedrick Barefield and Parker Van Dyke chipped in 10 apiece for the Utes.

Tyler Brey scores 26 as Colorado beat Washington State 92-60

Tyler Bey scored a career-high 26 points, Shane Gatling had 17 and the Colorado Buffaloes routed short-handed Washington State 92-60 for its first conference win of the season. Bey added 10 rebounds for his seventh career double-double.
