Three of the four members of Idaho’s all-GOP congressional delegation have spoken out strongly against the violence in Charlottesville over the weekend, condemning racism and white supremacy as counter to American values. The fourth, 1st District Rep. Raul Labrador, had no comment, and his office did not respond to repeated requests for comment from Idaho reporters.

Eye on Boise: Ahlquist touts fundraising in Idaho governor race

Campaign finance reports in Idaho state races are due on Monday – which is when we’ll find out who’s providing the initial funding behind the 2018 campaigns for governor, lieutenant governor and more. But GOP gubernatorial candidate Tommy Ahlquist sent out a news release on Thursday touting his fundraising, saying his campaign raised nearly $575,000 between March 1 and June 30, with more than half of the donations below $100.
