Officials at an eastern Idaho zoo are investigating after a coyote inside an exhibit was killed and another injured. Zoo Idaho officials told the Idaho State Journal that workers on Saturday morning found Odie dead in the exhibit and Ky injured.

Baby clouded leopards debut at West Side zoo

TACOMA – Four clouded leopard cubs are now on display at a Tacoma zoo. The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium will announce their genders and names next week. The 3-week-old cubs have gained about one pound apiece with regular bottle feedings, and now weigh about 1.7 pounds each.

Valley’s Old Plantation torn down

To most Spokane Valley residents it was known as the Old Plantation. The restaurant sitting on the corner of Vista Road and Sprague Avenue went from being a fancy place to take your family for dinner, to several different iterations of nightclub and live music venue, before sitting empty for two years.
