Christopher Bell wins $100,000 bonus with Bristol win

Christopher Bell earned his first career Bristol Motor Speedway victory and a $100,000 bonus with the Xfinity Series win. Bell got his second victory of the season, his 10th in 48 starts, by passing Brandon Jones with 17 laps remaining. The race was the first of four in sponsor Xfinity’s bonus program that qualifies four drivers for the $100,000 bonus in designated events.

Christopher Bell passed Justin Allgaier with 17 laps remaining and held off Daniel Hemric to win the 300-mile NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Kentucky Speedway. Bell, who started from the back after spinning his No. 20 Toyota during qualifying, earned his second victory this season and third of his career.

Storm postpones Xfinity Series race at Kentucky Speedway

NASCAR postponed the Xfinity Series event at Kentucky Speedway as severe thunderstorms threatened the area just before the race was scheduled to start. Cup series regular Kyle Busch will start on the pole alongside Erik Jones as Toyotas swept the front row.
