Pac-12 decision likely costs Gonzaga games against UW, USC and Arizona

The Zags were scheduled to face USC on Nov. 17 at the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland and entertain Arizona (Dec. 5) and Washington (Dec. 12). Those games appear to be scrubbed by the Pac-12’s announcement, which came shortly after the Big Ten’s decision to cancel the fall football season because of COVID-19 concerns.

Washington State has lowest point total in three years, loses 66-49 to Arizona

An Arizona team that hasn’t been as steady, or consistent, as many of its previous editions lost its national ranking after losing at Arizona State last Saturday. The Wildcats still displayed the strength, size and athleticism befitting a team that posted the country’s sixth-rated recruiting class in 2019.

Highlights: Gonzaga 84, Arizona 80

No. 15 Arizona men's basketball was unable to pull off the upset over No. 6 Gonzaga as the Bulldogs took down the Wildcats by a final score of 84-80 on Saturday evening in Tucson. Freshman forward Zeke Nnaji led the Wildcats on Saturday night with a 16-point, 18-rebound double-double performance against the No. 6 team in the nation; his third double-double of the season. Josh Green led the Wildcats in scoring with 17 points and added four rebounds. Corey Kispert had a game-high 18 points on 7-of-13 from the field to help move the Bulldogs to 11-1 on the season, Wildcats fall to 10-2. – Pac-12 Networks
