Move afoot to buy Tubbs Hill lots

Huckleberries has learned from Coeur d'Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer that there's a move afoot to buy the 2 lots, totaling one acre, on the northeast edge of Coeur d'Alene, from the urban renewal district. Mary Lou Reed and George Sayler made proposed to purchase the two parcels for $600,000.

CdA mulls sale of land near Tubbs Hill

Coeur d’Alene’s urban renewal agency, ignite cda, wants to hear what the community thinks about its proposal to sell a small piece of residential land on the north side of Tubbs Hill. The agency’s board decided Wednesday to gather feedback after members of the Tubbs Hill Foundation raised concerns about how the sale could impact the popular park.
