Luke Falk became the Pac-12’s career leader in passing yards, firing three touchdowns and accumulating 337 yards on 34-of-48 passing, Washington State held the nation’s leading rusher to his worst statistical game of the year and the 25th-ranked Cougars did what they set out to do on a snowy day in Pullman, dispatching No. 18 Stanford 24-21 – a result that kept them in the thick of the Pac-12 North race.

Maybe I’m coming off as a bit of a homer by choosing the Cougars to win for the 10th straight time this season. Maybe, or maybe I just like Washington State’s chances against a traditional offense with a single focal point. i.e. the one the Cougars will see on Saturday afternoon.
