A $5.5 million storage unit development is being built on Geiger Boulevard, according to permits filed with the county, just northwest of a 2.5-million-square-foot building that is believed will be an Amazon fulfillment center.

Texas dealership buys Dave Smith Auto Group

A fast-growing Texas car dealership has purchased Dave Smith Auto Group with plans to spread the successful Kellogg-based company’s brand throughout the Northwest. The deal with RFJ Auto Partners Inc. of Plano, Texas, closed April 20, and the Smith family principals will lead a northern group of dealerships from their North Idaho headquarters.

Kellogg to install 3 new flagpoles

The city of Kellogg will accept an offer from the owner of Dave Smith Motors to donate three new flagpoles to the city – one for the American flag, one for the state flag and one for the Tree City USA flag. All three will fly in Memorial Park, where a flagpole stood empty last week, symbolizing a dispute between the city and veterans.
