Tonight Gonzaga fans had the opportunity to get a first look at the 2020-21 women’s basketball team during the virtual Numerica FanFest. At tonight’s event, the Bulldogs scrimmaged and fans had a chance to hear from the athletes and coaches in individual interviews. Here is a glimpse of all the action.

Gonzaga basketball sets dates for Kraziness in the Kennel, FanFest and players’ appearances at Hoopfest

Gonzaga has set dates for the men’s basketball team’s Numerica Kraziness in the Kennel (Saturday, Oct. 6) and the women’s team’s Numerica FanFest (Oct. 13).The events will be the public’s first opportunity to see the 2018-19 Gonzaga teams in action at the McCarthey Athletic Center. The teams usually hold a scrimmage and shooting competitions, followed by an autograph session.

Gonzaga women’s basketball showcases mix of veterans, newcomers at FanFest

In the first quarter inside the revamped McCarthey Athletic Center, Jill Barta reminded the hundreds of fans how powerful she is in the post and beyond the arc. Barta finished with 20 points, including a perfect 7 of 7 at the line, to lead her Zags on the white team to a 37-27 win at the Gonzaga women’s FanFest.
