Fresh Sheet: miFlavour goodies land at Huckleberry’s

The online bakery miFlavour is still searching for a permanent storefront. But, now there’s a way to buy some of its decadent desserts in person – instead of only on the web. A limited selection of miFlavour’s treats are now available at Huckleberry’s Natural Market, 926 S. Monroe St. Look for biscotti, bars and French macarons made by Ella Piskun, who owns miFlavour with her husband, Max, and is working on a line of unicorn-themed goodies.

Liberty Ciderworks celebrates its third anniversary Saturday

Liberty Ciderworks is celebrating its third anniversary Saturday by expanding its offerings and holding its third annual Cider Splash. Beginning this month, the downtown taproom and production facility will add award-winning ciders from Europe and North America. That's more than 30 bottled ciders and three guest ciders on draft.

Fresh Sheet: Spokane is home to ‘Best in Class’ cider

Santé is expanding its breakfast hours, beginning Friday. The downtown bistro will open at 7 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Its Butcher Bar will be opening earlier, too, with service starting on those days at 10 a.m.

AB Management buys Retail Center The Spokane Retail Center, 7630 N. Division St., has been purchased by AB Management LLC for $7.5 million.

Liberty Ciderworks unveils tasting room

It’s no surprise Rick Hastings and Austin Dickey decided to call their hard-cider operation Liberty Ciderworks. They met while working as architects at the Liberty Building in downtown Spokane. Liberty is one of the apple varieties used in their New World blend.
