Interplayers theater group rescued by Dickers

The husband-and-wife team who acquired Spokane’s Bing Crosby Theater earlier this year has taken on one more Spokane arts group: Patty and Jerry Dicker said Friday they’ve bought out the mortgage on the building used by Spokane Interplayers Ensemble. The move will allow Spokane’s only professional live theater company to lease back its building and continue planning its future seasons, said Jerry Dicker.

Spotlight: Local foundation has big plans for Bing collection

A Spokane foundation has purchased one of the three largest Bing Crosby photo/memorabilia collections in the world – about 5,000 pieces – with an idea toward a future museum in downtown Spokane. Jerry Dicker of the Jerry and Patty Dicker Foundation said the collection was amassed by Ron Bosley, a British fan and archivist for the International Club Crosby.
