Feature Creature: Clyde

Clyde, a brindle and white pit bull terrier, was found and brought to the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service. Clyde is “a great guy that is happy and playful – likes outside activities such as running and going for walks. An active home with a fenced yard is a must,” SCRAPS said in a news release.

Feature Creature: Tigger

Tigger is a very social dog but needs some training. He is strong and needs a strong handler to teach him proper manners. He would do best with a family with no small children. Refer to the pet’s ID number when contacting Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service with questions about one of the adoptable pets. If you are interested in this dog or any animal at SCRAPS, call (509) 477-2532 or visit the shelter at 6815 E. Trent Ave. in Spokane Valley. Dog adoptions cost $87.04 and include spay or neuter, the first set of vaccinations, health check, microchip and first year’s license.

Police say troopers were helping the Lewis County sheriff’s office search a residence in the eastern Adirondacks late Monday when the pit bull ran out of the house and began attacking Trooper Shaun Smith’s K-9 partner, a 3-year-old Belgian-Malinois named Will.
