Obafemi Martins scored two goals in the first Sounders FC competition of the new year Wednesday, leading Seattle to a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes in a preseason friendly at Tucson, Ariz. Martins’ goals came in the 27th and 29th minutes, and both were assisted by Andy Rose.
