Jagelski Steps Down as Sentinel Basketball Head Coach

Sentinel boys basketball head coach Jay Jagelski has resigned after eight seasons of leading the Spartans. Jagelski compiled an overall record of 95-86 during his Sentinel tenure and made five appearances at the state tournament during those years. Jagelski cited his desire to spend more time with his family and two young sons as the main reason for his decision to step down. He will continue to work as a teacher at Sentinel High School.

Sentinel’s Alex Germer Commits to MSU Basketball

Sentinel High junior Alex Germer has verbally committed to play college basketball for Montana State. Germer averaged over 17 points and 8 rebounds per game this past season and was named a class AA all-state first team selection.

Knights Sweep: Hellgate Wins Both Games and the Golden Goat

The Hellgate-Sentinel basketball rivalry added another epic chapter Friday night as both teams played under the lights at the University of Montana's Dahlberg Arena. This year, the Hellgate Knights won not only both the boys (73-45) and girls (56-51 in overtime) basketball games, but the most important rivalry prize of all: The Golden Goat.
