Oregon put on probation, but faces no bowl ban

Spokane Chiefs release preseason plan

WHL: The Western Hockey League’s Spokane Chiefs announced their seven-game preseason schedule, which includes tournaments in Everett and Kennewick. The Chiefs will begin at the Everett Silvertips Holiday Inn Preseason Classic, playing Portland on Aug. 30, the host Silvertips on Aug. 31 and Seattle on Sept. 1.
