The church has withstood challenges from without and within in its 140 years of existence, which makes Westminster older than Spokane itself. Within its stately stone walls, a congregation meets that has its eyes on social justice and what is considered a progressive social stance, evident in its welcoming of the LGBTQ community and assistance for the city’s homeless.
