Fans watch the game in Riverfront Park
Hooptown USA, a rebranding of Spokane's giant Hoopfest tournament, threw a party to bring fans to the pavilion in Riverfront Park to watch the Gonzaga Bulldogs beat the Tar Heels of North Carolina Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019. The party included three jumbo screens, food trucks, a beer garden and other ways to stay warm while watching the Gonzaga men's team beat their NCAA nemesis, UNC. The Zags won 94-81.
