Highlights: No. 20 Washington State football edges past Houston, moves to 3-0

Anthony Gordon throws for 440 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 20 Washington State to a 31-24 victory over Houston on Friday night. The gives WSU a 3-0 start for the season – the first time WSU has had three consecutive seasons starting 3-0 in over 100 years (1907-09). Max Borghi racked up 101 total yards while Brandon Arconado hauled in a career-high nine receptions for 115 yards. WSU outscored Houston 14-0 during the third quarter to pull away. – Pac-12 Networks
