From photographer Colin Mulvany: As a photojournalist for The Spokesman-Review newspaper, 2020 photographically challenged me like no other. I covered the COVID-19 pandemic, an explosion of local civil unrest and even a national election. Between these big news stories, I found many great moments and people to photograph. Like most, I want 2020 to be a distant memory—but wow, what a historic news year! I am so honored my newspaper has given me the opportunity to document our Spokane community. Here’s hoping 2021 brings you peace, justice, love and health.
