Gonzaga women dial up defensive pressure in win at UNLV

Gonzaga, which improved to 18-26 against current Mountain West teams, earned a 37-36 advantage on the glass, and outscored the Rebels in the paint, 36-22. The Zags have now outscored opponents in the paint, 138-84.

Gonzaga outlasts Eastern Washington 63-51 in women’s basketball

Eastern Washington held Gonzaga’s offense in check for about three quarters on Sunday. But the Eagles’ offense didn’t take advantage of the Bulldogs’ early shooting woes, and eventually Gonzaga pulled away in the fourth quarter of a 63-51 victory at Reese Court.
