Sealed bids will be received from qualified Contractors for the below listed project by Medical Lake School District for the following project at the date, time and location listed below:

Michael Anderson Elementary Roof Replacement Project

Fairchild AFB, WA 99011

The project involves removal and replacement of existing low slope roof assembly, and installation of new low slope roof assembly.

Base Bids with any and all alternates and unit prices will be received until 2:00 pm on April 21, 2026 at the Reception/Office, District Offices of Superintendent, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Prospective bidders MAY NOT visit the project/site to make individual inspections of the site prior to or after the pre-bid meeting.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at Michael Anderson Elementary School, 400 Fairchild St, Fairchild AFB, WA 99011. Prospective contractors are to meet at the Fairchild AFB Main Gate visitor center with valid REAL ID compliant identification. Group will depart for tour at 10:15. For more details see Fairchild.af.mil/Base/Visitor-Information/ This conference IS NOT MANDATORY but highly encouraged for prospective Contractors to take a tour and become familiar with the project and site.

n accordance with state law, bidders are required to have a current Washington State contractor’s license at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total base bid (not including alternates). This surety shall be forfeited in event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, and to waive bidding informalities.
