The Spokesman-Review

How many people in Spokane who watch and read the news know about the huge story on what is being called “ClimateGate,” exposed by the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit? Maybe the so-called major media outlets are just blinded by the all-powerful, so-called “scientific community” with its “authoritative, objective scientific research” and, of course, its powerful political allies who are into “carbon cap and trade” and other smoke and mirror tricks to be pushed at the climate change summit in Copenhagen on Dec. 18. This is when President Obama, Prime Minister Gordon Brown and other world leaders will gather to signal their readiness to make climate change history.

Why do they want to push “global warming” to the total exclusion of other equally valid points of view? Why are we so opposed to genuinely objective science and freedom of the press?

Well, I guess “follow the money” is still the best advice. By the way, when you follow the money, where does the path lead? At least much of the money made from “climate change” goes to scientists in the form of grants to institutions like universities whose claims are supported by … political entities in government high places.
