Gun rights not negotiable
With a new administration coming into office I have a few questions for freedom-loving people. How much more infringement of our Second Amendment rights are you willing to take?
Our government has overstepped its bounds for too long now. There is a new onslaught of attacks coming, including the “Ammunition Accountability Act” (look it up). Anyone’s support of firearms for “sporting purposes” is irrelevant.
The Second is an inherent right, not granted, that we have the right to defend ourselves with arms, and not just arms that government deems “sporting.” The very reason for the Second is for protection from a dictatorship, and unless people realize that they will eventually lose all their rights and their means to uphold them.
Has it come to a point of civil disobedience? I think it may very well be our final line in the sand. I refuse to beg for a God-given right any longer from a government who sees us as irrelevant. “Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights,” – Thomas Jefferson.
It’s time to step up and take a stand, the Second Amendment is no longer negotiable, period!
