On July 14, a letter was submitted by an extreme devotee of none other than Sarah Palin. The gentleman’s comments are not entirely correct. Sarah Palin was not “thrust” upon the national political stage; she had the option of declining the offer.

The “army of Democratic operatives” did not have to offer sums of cash to seek information on the Gravina Island Bridge, her outrageous sports complex, the dismissal of the Alaskan public safety commissioner or her “inquiry” into banning and removing some books from the Wasilla Public Library. The information is readily available without offering bribes.

Is it true that some late-night talk show hosts joked about Bristol and her unschooled ex-fiancé Levi Johnston? Yes. However, I am not aware of any such attacks on Sarah Palin’s son Trig. And if there are, you should provide the readers with a quotable source. Like so many male GOP supporters and representatives, you should examine the facts surrounding Sarah Palin instead of allowing your libidos and/or the fractious “shock jocks” to dampen your judgments.
