The current administration will assign all citizens obesity ratings by 2014, but is unable to locate and deport several million illegals. I sense an “Alice in Wonderland” reality in our government.

The Red Queen (Pelosi) and her minions have no qualms making decisions on the basis of “sentence first, verdict afterward,” and the Mad Hatter (Harry Reid) is panicked over someone else’s tea party.

The Cheshire Cat (Barney Frank) grins as he cheerfully destroys our banking system, and Tweedle Dum (Joe Biden) manages comments that not even Lewis Carroll could have dreamed up. (No restrictions on Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae, because then only people who can afford houses will be able to own them.)

Our bewildered Alice (Barrack Obama) takes off to croquet games, despite a failure to plug either the rabbit hole that dropped him in the White House, or the oil well in the Gulf.

Meanwhile the Republican leadership runs around with a watch screaming they’re late for something, but without a clue as to what that might be. It would almost be funny if our country wasn’t fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and on the verge of two others with Iran and North Korea.
