Attend to street basics

The Spokesman-Review

I keep reading about a plan for “complete streets” here in Spokane. I understand that it is meant to include rights-of-way for bicycles and pedestrians.

First, we should concentrate on providing “adequate” streets for automobiles.

If anyone would like to take a test drive to find out for themselves, drive west from about Division to Browne’s Addition, in the right-hand lane on Second Avenue. The moguls get really fun at the railroad overpass right before Rosauers.

Excuse me, I have to go have my tie rods and CV joints inspected.
