Support Marilyn Cline

Upon reflection, my participation in the just concluded primary race for City Council Position No. 6 in the city of Spokane Valley was a most enlightening and interesting experience. In ringing doorbells and speaking to a wide variety of folks, it is apparent there is widespread concern about world events, our local economy and a general uneasiness about our national direction.

While most folks would prefer not to get directly involved in politics, I would strongly recommend attending or watching on TV the regular city council meetings. At first they may appear to be intimidating, but as one gains an understanding of the flow, it’s very easy to join the discourse. And, the folks on the dais listen to those who take time to comment.

Although my campaign was unsuccessful, I intend to remain involved and continue to nurture the bond that was established with a sizable segment of voters who support my ideas.

I would urge those who took the time to listen and vote for me to now support Marilyn Cline in her quest for election to Spokane Valley City Council Position No. 6.
