Congressman Raul Labrador hasn’t served two years yet, but he’s already forgotten that he “represents” the average Idahoan. He proudly appears with members of the Koch Empire, and with Grover Norquist, the non-elected guru of wealthy tax avoiders. Labrador’s campaign chest swells with donations from out-of-state special interests and other mega-donors who would love to grind down our beautiful mountains for minerals lurking there and pour sludge into our rivers and lakes. He hears not the ideas of his constituents, but the desires of his campaign donors and party leaders.

I suggest we fire Mr. Labrador and elect Jimmy Farris, who will listen to the people, take their concerns to Congress and stay in touch with the needs of his constituents. I’ve met Mr. Farris and am impressed with his enthusiasm and his availability to the public to answer questions.

He stayed for hours at the Bonner County Fair to meet the people of his district and to discuss issues of importance to them. He expressed a love for Idaho and dedication to keeping its beauty and value intact. He will represent the people of Idaho and will work hard for us.
