As a resident of Spokane, I would like to add my name to the many in voicing my opposition to our representative, Cathy McMorris Rodgers. She and a handful of extremists are holding the country hostage over a law that is already up and running. It is fine to be against policy, but she should go through the correct channels and stop this stonewalling.

As to others in Spokane who believe in this country and want competent leadership, I urge you to get involved. We can find a strong candidate for the next election who will look out for the interests of all residents. We need a positive, pragmatic representative who acts like an adult, not someone who caters to the fringe and has no vision for our region.
