Support ethical business

A friend of mine was just fired because he refused to lie to customers of a home repair business. The business accepts the order and tells the customers they will receive service today, even though they are fully booked. They then call the customer later and tell them that, due to unforeseen circumstances, their appointment has to be moved to the day after tomorrow.

Let’s support businesses that value honesty and teach our children this value through our example. If you receive a call moving your repair call to another day, just say, “No thanks. I’ll go elsewhere,” then do it. We are very fortunate to have many reputable businesses in our area. Let’s vote for them with our feet and with our wallets.
