Need smarter growth

Hooray for Jon Snyder! He seems to care about the ordinary citizen.

In the 20 years that I’ve lived here, I’ve seen an enormous increase in the development of homes and apartments, erected on former wetlands and empty tracts. Some years ago I asked Al French how the sewer system could cope with all of this development. He said the current system was good for 10 years and then they would have to do something else.

That something else is the $25 on my utility bill every month, and now they want more and more development. Where does it all end? Why can’t we fill up all of the homes and apartments we currently have vacant before we build even more?
