VA stretched thin

I’m a combat veteran who uses the Spokane Veterans Administration Medical Center. I have complete respect for the doctors, medical staff and volunteers who choose to serve us veterans.

After many years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the VA must serve an increased number of veterans. Unsurprisingly, this has stretched the resources and impacted services. Congress must increase the VA’s staff and funding to meet growing demand. Our veterans have accomplished their mission; now Congress must help the VA accomplish theirs.

I receive excellent medical care from the Spokane VA Medical Center and wish to thank and salute all who work there.
