Three thanks to paper

Yes, Spokesman-Review, I agree with your Oct. 23 editorial urging Spokane City Council members not to hide behind the 2005 preservation of historical buildings ordinance and forgo any action. Indeed, the council members need to actively support Lexus Spokane’s expansion, which includes the demolition of the two neighboring old and ugly buildings.

Also, thanks for the return of columnist Kathleen Parker. I find her writings clear, witty, simplistic and laced with common sense. Lastly, thanks for ending the “my-political-candidate- is-better-than-your-candidate” letters to the editor.
