Minimal government best

Regarding John Crews’ Nov. 8 letter:

Yes, he is right, conservatives do berate and campaign against government. Conservatives love and value our country and the people in it. The bigger our government, the smaller our freedoms.

So when you hear conservatives rail against another tax or regulation, remember they are doing it out of loyalty and concern for our beloved country and the freedom we stand for. Minimizing our government is very different from “bringing down” our government. More laws and regulations mean less freedom.
