Regarding Tim Christensen’s letter (“Leftist bullies defeated,” Dec. 4): Negative words describing the president-elect are adjectives. His opinion is that by describing the behaviors of a person, one becomes a bully. My opinion is that behavior actually bullying a person is being a bully, i.e. threatening Americans with jail for exercising First Amendment rights, barring the press from reporting, toadying up to Russia against the interests of the U.S., threatening to jail a U.S. citizen and filing numerous lawsuits.

The electorate voted for a bully. That side gets to be the winner for four or more years. Handing out $7 million to keep Carrier Corporation in the U.S. is government intrusion and does not benefit the worker.

P.T. Barnum said “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Abraham Lincoln said “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” I’m not fooled.

At the “little” table is an English children’s rhyme: “Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never harm you.”
