From crude to pineapples

I certainly hope that the elected officials from the city of Mosier, Oregon, the state lawmakers from the great state of Oregon, the elected officials from the city of Spokane and the state lawmakers from the great state of Washington did not read the June 12 article in the Spokesman-Review under the heading “Trailer of pineapples bursts into flame.”

If they in fact did read the article, the transportation of highly flammable pineapples by pineapple trucks surely will be subjected to the exact same intense scrutiny as the flammable crude oil being transported by the “evil” oil trains. God help us.
