WSU should not be held accountable for the fall of a student, but the parent’s parenting and the student’s common sense should be to blame. Someplace along the line the parents should have instilled in their student the perils of excessive drinking, and the student should have the sense to know when to stop.

This campaign shows the lack of responsibility on both the parent’s and the student’s part. The WSU dorms and frat houses have been there for 50-plus years, and the student’s poor judgment should not be forced on the public to correct but back to the parent’s to parent.

The thought of a student getting drunk and then blaming the institution for his injuries demonstrates the fact that poor judgment on the part of one party should not be blamed on another party.
