Persist against chaos

Chaos!

The signature quality of the current administration.

The latest examples are: internationally, threatening war with Iran; domestically, paying U.S. farmers for harm done by U.S.-imposed tariffs and at a small portion of their economic losses.

The reputation of the U.S. is damaged by such chaos; it is expensive financially as well. Public service is a high calling, with the good of the country as its foundation. This is damaging and disrupting that legacy in favor of personality over principle, placing blame on others for all consequences of its decisions and behaviors, and acting as if victimized.

Persistence against such chaos is what real patriots are called to do. Let us all persist in our patriotism and citizenship by participating in the process as people joined by our shared humanity, community members and the call to work for a better city, county, state, nation and world.
