Plenty of reasons

In response to “Mindless Trump hatred,” (Randall Jones, Sep. 3):

In regards to Randall Jones’ letter suggesting people don’t know why they dislike Donald Trump. I can only speak for myself, but I saw this president stand in front of an international audience and deny Russia’s interference in our election despite being told it was so by his own intelligence agencies.

I saw him explain that he fired the head of the F.B.I. because of the investigation of that interference. I see him doing everything possible to shield his tax returns from scrutiny despite saying during the campaign he would release them. I watch as he alienates our long-term allies while embracing the worst dictatorships in the world.

I watch as he spends almost every weekend playing golf at his properties on the taxpayers’ dime. I watch as he holds campaign rallies on a monthly basis disparaging the media as enemies of the people and inciting violence against immigrants. I’ve watched as he lies about things large and small.

Donald Trump is a wanna-be dictator while enriching himself through the presidency. I know exactly why I dislike Donald Trump; the question is, why don’t you?
