Importance of wearing masks

When I learned how to ride a motorcycle many years ago, the most important thing stressed by my expert teacher was to “ride like everyone’s out to kill you. Do not expect everyone to respect the rules of the road.” Those words made me a better and safer rider to this day.

So when I see most folks at the grocery store, hardware store, and pharmacy not wearing masks or social distancing, I am alarmed because I do expect everyone to respect the rules of science.

Obeying the rules of the road or the rules of science should be mandatory, otherwise, everyone’s out to kill each other.
