Suspect Arrested For Witness Tampering

Associated Press

A man under investigation in the disappearance of a 7-year-old girl was arrested Friday for tampering with a witness, police said.

The man, who has not been charged with the girl’s disappearance, told his brother to lie to investigators about blood found in his vehicle, said Everett police spokesman Elliott Woodall.

The man told his brother “to say they came from a poached deer,” Woodall said.

The blood is human blood, but it’s not known if it belongs to Roxanne Doll, Woodall said. The little girl has been missing from her south Everett home since last Friday night.
