Mike Tyson is buying an 11,000-square-foot mansion here patterned after a French castle, reportedly paying $3.7 million for it.

The home, owned by longtime gaming figure Ed Doumani, has been on and off the market for several months, listed at $5 million at one time.

The closing was imminent, and should be accomplished no later than today, realtor Phyllis Schwartz said on Tuesday. She is handling the transaction.

The home was described by Schwartz as “the best in Vegas” and includes seven bedrooms, a wine cellar, exercise room, tennis court, pool and guest house.

Tyson, released from an Indiana prison March 25 after serving three years for rape, has been staying at the MGM Grand. He signed a 2 1/2-year deal to fight at the $1 billion Las Vegas resort.

The purchase of the house is the latest move in a buying spree Tyson has been on since leaving prison and signing multimillion dollar deals with MGM and Showtime TV.

The Daily News in New York reported Tuesday that the former champion had bought five BMWs.

“Unfortunately, there’s only a four-car garage” in the new house, one broker told the newspaper.
