Plan To Get Traffic Around Site Starts Monday

From Staff Reports

A new plan to get traffic past a construction project on U.S. Highway 2 will go into place on Monday.

Openings through the construction area from Thama to Wrenco Loop will be set for four periods during the day, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Crews will begin work at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday. But vehicles can get past construction at the following times: 7:45 a.m.; 10 a.m.; noon to 12:30 p.m.; and 4:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The schedule will be in place until a detour route is completed around a rock excavation area.
