New faces:

Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities has added the following people to its staff:

Jim Brinkerhoff has joined the company as vice president-human resources. Brinkerhoff has more than 18 years of human resource experience, and will be concentrating on organizational development, training and recruitment.

Chad Galloway is the company’s new senior internal auditor and will oversee the entire audit function for Metropolitan and its subsidiaries.

Earle Ruddach has joined the Underwriting Department as a contract underwriter. Ruddach has more than 20 years in the finance/banking industry, most recently as a loan officer with US Bank.

Craig Beaumont has joined the Property Development Department as an architect III. Beaumont brings more than eight years of experience to the company, most recently with Eastern Washington University.

Scott Kelley and Robert Deilke have joined the Information Systems Department as programmer/analyst and branch network specialist, respectively.

Bruce Farrer has joined the Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty team in Coeur d’Alene. Farrer was previously with another Coldwell Banker company in Charleston, S.C.

Tracy Harris also has joined Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty in Coeur d’Alene. Harris was previously with another Coeur d’Alene real estate firm.

Steve Anderson has been named administrator for Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 99-bed skilled nursing and 20-bed sub acute/ rehabilitation facility currently under construction at Northpointe. Anderson, a graduate of Whitworth College with more than 10 years of experience in the health care industry, is currently the administrator for Lilac City Care Center.

Jon D. Floyd has joined the Spokane law firm of Chase, Hayes & Kalamon P.S. as an associate, where he practices in the areas of labor law, workers’ compensation, employment law and commercial law. Floyd is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law and previously was an associate with Steven R. Buzzard & Associates in Centralia, Wash.

R.W. Robideaux & Co. has added the following people to its staff:

Elizabeth L. Yost is an executive assistant in corporate support. She previously worked for Empire Airlines, Hayden Lake, Idaho.

Valerie J. Brady is an executive assistant in property management & leasing. Brady previously was employed by Dr. Michael S. Golden as a computer services trainer and operator.

David C. Porter has joined Sundown Marine Inc. as its new general sales manager in Spokane. Porter has 16 years of local marine management and sales experience, having worked extensively in marine accessories.

Moving up:

Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities has promoted the following employees:

Scott Spence has been promoted to vice president of the Underwriting Department. Spence has been with the company for 5 years in the Underwriting Department.

Greg Gordon was named assistant vice president. Gordon manages the company’s Demography Department and has been working as a market area analyst since 1989.

Ray Nicholson, director of information systems since 1993, was promoted to assistant vice president. Nicholson will continue to oversee all information system functions while assisting in the company’s Operations Division as well.

Kate Fairborn was named market research analyst for Western United Life, a Metropolitan subsidiary. Fairborn will gather market research to explore new products, analyze sales records and research trends in the industry.

Sterling Financial Corp. has promoted the following people:

Colleen Warner was named assistant vice president/internal audit. Warner joined Sterling in 1991 as internal audit assistant and responsible for developing the branch audit program.

Julie Shiflett was promoted to assistant vice president. She joined Sterling in 1993 as tax accounting manager. In addition to her tax responsibilities, she organizes and oversees annual audit and examination activities.

Starting up:

Irisc Codes has opened an office at

2615 N. 4th St. No. 48C, Coeur d’Alene. The business screens employees for home care and nursing home advocation. Owner Colleen O’Dowd has a degree in criminal justice/social science and is a certified nursing assistant.

Drs. Allen Bostwick, Paul Domitor, Donald Hutchings, Duane Green and program director Steven Saunders of Northwest Integrated Services LLC, 140 S. Arthur Suite 415, have begun providing outpatient cognitive rehabilitation services for individuals who have had mild to moderately severe traumatic brain injuries, or other neurological impairments.

Total Training has started accepting clients throughout the Spokane area. Owned by John Cross, the business specializes in all areas of people development, including communication, organization and profitability.

HouseMaster, a house inspection organization, has opened an office at 317 N. Pines.

Moving:

Strategic Software Associates has changed its name to J.C. Brown & Associates Inc. and moved to 3810 E. Boone. The company provides construction oriented computer software, training and consulting services.

Four Seasons Travel and Tour has moved to 2017 Northwest Blvd.

The Spokane branch office of Minneapolis-based Piper Jaffray Inc. has moved to the Seafirst Financial Center, Suite 1200.

BDO Seidman, an accounting and consulting firm, has relocated its Spokane office to Seafirst Financial Center, Suite 900.
