Get Your Master’s Degree On The Internet

Associated Press

Jones International Ltd., the parent of company of cable television systems operator Jones Intercable Inc., said Thursday it plans to establish a “cyberspace business college” for working adults.

International University College would offer a master’s degree in business communications through the Internet, the worldwide web of computer networks, as well as cable television, satellite television and videocassettes.

Annual tuition would start at $2,280 - 39 percent less than the average $2,916 for most public university graduate programs - the company said.

“Universities play the major role in education, but there are millions of potential students thirsting for knowledge that they can’t reach,” said Jones International Chairman Glenn R. Jones.
