Area Athletes Compete In Special Olympic Games

Several Inland Northwest athletes competed at the 27th annual Washington Special Olympics Summer Games held recently at Fort Lewis. The athletes and their divisions were:

The Spokane Blue Dolphins, Aquatics: Nicole Ayers, Diane Barboue, Dianne Bogart, Aaron Evans, Tyler Johnson, Ken McPhee, Sheryl Rumbold, Kurt Thovson and Laura Tower.

The Selkirk Superstars, Athletics: Andy Endreson, Troy Enyeart and Steve McKenzie.

Shadle Park, Athletics: Kelly Burrill, Christine Clark, Travis Cook, Davey Crocket, Stacey Fierro, Brenda Jones, Leslee Robnett, Rosemary Saccheri and Denny Wright.

Lewis and Clark High School, Athletics: Cindy Bartlett, Chandan Bhuta, Marta Delacruz, Jamie Gill, Daniel Ibach and Dee Dee Quintero.

Spokane No. 1 placed second in the Soccer Masters Division.
